I'm starting to get worried. I sent my present off to someone in Florida on the 22nd of Nov. It was only suppose to take a week to get there. I hope it didn't get lost.

according to the information i've found online the last posting day for standard parcels is dec 11th for usa and december 15th for the uk/europe, so you should all have plenty of time to select and send a gift, although sending sooner rather than later is prefered.
can everyone taking part post on this thread what things they like, what their interests are etc so that the person who is buying a gift for you has some idea what to get you.

Christmas tradition - for kids
by Dawn ini initiated a christmas tradition with my son when he was little and have continued it all these years - thought i'd share it with you in case you have little ones.. since my kids just can't wait to open their presents, i wrap one special gift for them to open x-mas eve.
it's always the same thing - brand new pajamas and a cuddly toy for bed time.
my kids absolutely loved this christmas eve tradition.

I have been out along time so have celebrated many Christmases. My kids never knew what it was like to not have Christmas.
What I did with my kids and now my grandkids is each year they get an ornament attached to a present. It has the date and I sign it. I try and make it something pertaining to what was special for them that year. The kids ornaments went on my tree until they grew up and moved out. When they put their first tree up they have a good start of ornaments that mean something to them and they will always have something from me, or MawMaw & PawPaw in the grandkids case.

I started going to the Vineyard. I think they may have started in California so there may be one near you. Very upbeat, nondenominational, excepting. Age appropriate bible classes for kids. Very community & cherity oriented. I found myself wanting go to church.

I got my present today.
Kat2u was my Secret Santa. It only took 3 days to get here. I got a beautiful card, a snowman ornament for my yet to go up tree. I got some homemade Bisscotti (never tried it before) and some gourmet coffee to have with it. I got a great rock (lava) from Mt. St. Helens, believe it or not that is very exciting to me. I was sad when Mt. Hood was the only mountain I got to see while visiting my son in Yakima, WA a couple years ago. I wasn't on the right side of the plane to even see Mt. St. Helens from the air.
I also got a shiny green wrapped present that I may not open till Christmas, or at least until I can't stand the suspence any longer. I can wait....I can wait....I can wait..........
Thank you so much Kat I love it all so far. My hubby thought I was goofy cause I was so excited when he said Merry Christmas HO-HO-HO you have a package.
Thanks again to Gadget for all his hard work in getting this together again this year.or maybe by now you need something alittle harder
